'KEEP WARM AND KEEP SAFE' from all at CANCER CARE CYMRU!
Can you imagine driving a team of Huskies 250 km across the Arctic where temperatures can drop as low as -25c? Well, intrepid sisters Linda Grove and Amanda Jones will be doing just that beginning on 5th April 2008. They are hoping to raise money for Cancer Care Cymru by taking part in a Global Adventure Challenge that will take them along The Husky Trail. Their journey will take them through rolling highlands, deep forests and frozen wasteland, from Norway and through Sweden, living as Laplanders in tents!

Neither sister has any experience of this kind of challenge. Linda is a legal adviser in Swansea Magistrates’ Court and Amanda is a urology nurse at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
Good luck ladies and thank you from everyone at Cancer Care Cymru for embarking on such an ambitious expedition in support of our Charity. Brrrrrr we hope those Arctic temperatures don’t dip too low!!
