Gynae Oncology Nurse Specialist

Chris Langmaid is currently in a 2 year development post to become an Oncology Nurse Specialist in Gynae Oncology with Cancer Care Cymru.
She currently works in both Velindre and Llandough hospitals where she offers care, information and support to women undergoing gynaecological surgery and cancer treatments for example chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She also supports their families.
Prior to joining Cancer Care Cymru Chris was an out-patient Sister at Velindre hospital and has over 9 years of nursing experience.
She is currently completing her degree in Professional Practice.  Her particular areas of interest is psychosexual counselling and expanding her knowledge on fertility issues in gynaecological cancer patients
