Oncology Nurse Specialist Breast – Cancer Care Cymru

Lizzy Hodges moved into the field of Cancer Nursing in 2002 and her specific aptitude and interest in Breast Cancer led to her current role with Cancer Care Cymru.  She has a key role within the Breast team providing care, information and support to patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The Breast Team see over 400 new patients each year, these include patients from South, East and West Wales.  Lizzy is part of the team that lead the award winning telephone call back service initiative for patients receiving chemotherapy for their breast cancer and has represented the charity at the Breast Cancer Conference in San Antonio.
