Specialist Nurse (Supportive Care)

Michele has worked in the field of oncology for 20 years.  She currently works on the wards at Velindre Cancer Centre and provides specialist information and supportive care for cancer patients and their families.  Michele also provides education, training and support to staff and has developed a number of cancer education programmes for health professionals in South Wales.  Michele has a high national profile, lectures widely and has won several prestigious awards for her work in improving facilities for families and in particular children affected by cancer. Michele is also the Welsh representative on the Board of the United Kingdom Oncology Nurse Society (UKONS).
